General Steps

1. Welcome and orient the participant to the test environment.
2. Explain the purpose: “Testing the product/interface, not YOU.”
3. Review informed consent form, including risks and session details.
4. Conduct background interview/questionnaire (e.g., age, job role).
5. Administer tasks and observe performance.
6. Collect quantitative and qualitative data.
7. Collect subjective assessments during/after each task.
8. Conduct a final interview after all tasks.
